Recommended Media:

• Microfiche (minimum order 100 titles)
• Bound photocopies (unbound or bound)
• Tiff files or fax for excerpts (maximum 5 pages)
• CD ROM (Tiff or PDF files) available for some titles (up to 6000 pages)

  Becoming a JAP Library Member

By becoming a library member you help us to process your request quickly and support our continuing preservation program. You benefit from immediate response and we benefit from the confidence that you are a trusted customer and therefore we can do our utmost to find the book you need. Additional benefits are minimum orders of $10 only and one free search request.

• Please fill out the registration questionnaire and fax or email it.
• You must include your credit card info to receive full member benefits.
• Please note - When you request a book search you will automatically be registered as a member. Therefore if you do not foresee using our service again you must specify that this is a one time request.

Microfiche editions:

• $1.00 - $2.60 per Diazzo fiche of 60 pages (2-8 cents per page) as in site catalog. A minimum order of 100 titles is required.

• 3000 images per CD - $50.00

• 1   - 10   pages - $1.00 per page
• 11  - 25  pages  - $ .65 per page
• 26  - 100 pages - $ .50 per page
• 101 >     pages - $ .35 per page

• Softcover:  $ 7.00
• Hardcover: $25.00

• E-mail or fax (excerpts up to five pages) - $2
• Airmail or EMS - postage + $5 packing charge per carton
• Fedex or UPS   - Delivery + $5 packing charge per carton

• Members $10
• Non-members $20

• Book searchs are $15 per title
• For JAP members the first book search is for free.
• One research hour is $35

• Individual - $20      Institution - $125

In general only a tenth of the known titles in Rabbinics are in print at one time. If you cannot find the title you need in one of our catalogs we will find it for you in one of the major academic libraries or private collections we have contact with.

• To submit a Book Search request you must first must register as a JAP Library member and send us a valid credit card.
• We will then email you a Reproduction Estimate according to the number of pages in the title, the media and method of delivery you choose.
• If you need information about an: author person or topic we will assign an expert Judaica researcher to your Research Request to create a personal bibliography.

1. Your full name and position,
2. Your full mailing address,
3. Your telephone and fax numbers,
4. Your email address,
5. Your credit card information: owner name, type, number and date of expiry
6. Please specify: the title, author, and edition for every book or excerpt chosen
7. Please specify: the media, delivery and payment method for every order made
