Machon HaMaor is one of the most important new Israeli publishers of Sifrei Kodesh of the last decade.
The Humash HaMeor has set a new standard for the Mikrot Gedolot (Pentateuch with commentaries. Commenced a decade ago by Rabbi Aharon Samet and finished by Rabbi Daniel Biton, the precise editing, clear new type faces and easy to use layout have made the Meor the classic edition for the Jewish home.
Recently the Machon has completed a new edition of the Tur in 23 volumes which many say is the most precise and most complete edition to date.
In addition Rabbi Biton has undertaken to reprint for the first time in hundreds of years some the greatest Sephardic Poskim. These include entirely new editions of the Hikrei Lev in (5 vol.), Rabbi Haim Abulafia (8 vol.), Pnei Yitshak (6 vol.) and Taalumot Lev (4 vol.).
