Rabbi Yitshak Satz is one of the leading experts in the world on the early Ahronim (sages) and the origins of the Ashkenazic liturgy.

He has published the definitive scholarly edition of the Siddur of Rav Shabtai Sofer, a landmark Siddur which is the predecessor of todays Ashkenazic rite as we know it today.

As an editor and Talmudic scholar he has prepared for printing dozens of Talmudic works which were printed by Machon Yeushalayim and other scholarly publishers.
