Hotzaat Shem a veteran Jerusalem distributor has gathered together many outstanding but sometimes difficult to find authors. Scholarly editions of Rishonim and Ahronim are found together with more recent popular authors. On one hand we find the Sade Eliyahu of Rav David Movshovits which brings the Shita of the Vilna Gaon on all the Masektot learned in the Yeshivot and the Sanhedrei Gedola a collection of all the Rishonim on Sanhedrin. And on the other hand we find more popular works such as Dinei HBayit HaMeshutaf Ve HaMetavech, HaHashmal BeHalacha and Ben Adam LeHavero.
The emphasis is also on the Religious Zionist movement and its leading thinkers. Here we find previously unavailable works of the founders: HaRav A.Y. Kook Z"l, The Nazir HaRav David HaCohen Z"l, and the first Rosh Yeshiva of Mercaz HaRav, HaRavYaakov Moshe Charlap Z"l. Together with them are found more recent thinker such as HaRav Moshe Zvi Neria Z"l founder of the Bnei Akiva movement, HaRav Uzi Kalcheim Z"l, Rav Yaakov Filber and Rav Avigdor Amiel. Hotzaat Shem distributes the Gemara with Halacha Berura - each tractate includes an intensive commentary on how the Halacha is derived from the Talmud. Hotzaat Shem is also the source for Me Marom - the complete writings of Rav Y.M. Charlap and the writings of Rabbi Shmuel Kadar which are noted for their in-depth explanation of Hilchot Shabbat.
