Hatur HaShalem - 'Book Week Special'
The Tur: "Arba Turim Hashalem", Jerusalem, 1993, is a new and revised edition. For the first time, since the Tur was composed in the early 14th century, is the Tur and it's Noseh Kelim revised as much as possible, using as many as twenty different editions to determine the original text as closely as possible.
The New edition is printed with big and clear letters, using all the progress achieved in the technology of printing. The Tur is printed in 22 beautiful luxuriously bound volumes, and comes in two sizes.
Reference notes: help track the source of the opinions and decisions brought in the Tur and the Noseh Kelim, in order to fully understand it. In this edition has corrected the many innacurate reference notes, and by adding notes where they were missing.
Annotations: At the bottom of the Tur pages is a new section explaining corrections and comments, comparing versions of the Tur and differing interpretations of his decisions. This section was composed by a team of Rabbis-editors using a unique Tur editing process.
The Darkhe Moshe: the commentary of Rabbi Moshe Iserlis, the 'Rema', on the Tur first appeared in an abbreviated form in earlier editions. The abbreviated version was made by the printers in Berlin. Now, in the Tur HaShalem, we have reinstated the original version.
